The La Ronge Gold Project

The La Ronge Gold Project is a brownfield gold mining operation primarily owned by Matrixset Investment Corporation in the La Ronge Gold Belt area of Saskatchewan, within the traditional lands of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band. It consists of four separate properties including the Bingo mine (Thunderbird), the Komis/EP mine site, the Golden Heart mine site, and the Jolu mill site and its associated facilities. The area has over 80 years of exploration history, through which the Thunderbird, Komis, Corner Lake, Golden Heart, and Bingo deposits were identified. Featuring a central, fully permitted and equipped mill and ore-to-doré bar production capabilities, Matrixset is on track to become one of the largest producers in the region.

Saskatchewan was rated #3 in the world for mining investment attractiveness and offers legislative and environmental convenience for mining projects. Matrixset holds the mineral properties, surface leases, and all assets of the La Ronge Gold Project.

The La Ronge Gold Project features previously operational underground mines, and poses significant potential profitability through the intended development of new open pit mines. Since the reclassification of previously measured resources, Matrixset has developed a uniquely aggressive and environmentally friendly pre-production process that reduces emissions and processing costs utilizing cutting-edge technology.

The La Ronge Domain is an established gold-bearing belt with exploration spanning from the 1940s. Located in Northern Saskatchewan, numerous gold deposits and showings have been uncovered including mines Komis, Jolu, Star Lake, Roy Lloyd, and Golden Heart – which are within our project’s mining lease.
